No big surprise here, it is raining today as yesterday…
##I was awake in the rain-music, I will fall into the sleep in the rain-music too.##
Everything is wet: air, ground, benchs, cars, trees, and this beautiful flowers. Look at the small spots of water on the leaves, do they look like the shining crystals?? And I also thought of one post by Macky.
p.s. I don’t know the name of this plant. Do you know?? And sometimes it looks like the lettuce as I see. But it’s a kind of flowers I think. Here you could see the large one of this photo.

You have blog very interesting, with beautiful photos, I am of spain and I like to know other countries and their customs.
Excuse by the translation of the English is automatic.
Greetings
They look like a type of Savoy Cabbage with crinkled leafs. They are pretty and almost like flowers. The raindrops really make them sparkle. Nice shot.
I think it is a cabbage plant. The color and leaves look like cabbage to me. When I grew up you would only find cabbage in a garden where it was grown to eat. Now it is often used as an ornamental decoration … I’m glad you think of the rain as music.
The water on the cabbage is beautiful like crystal:-) I sometimes see this cabbage in a flowerbed and they are planted as a ornamental.
Thank you for linking to my blog.
I think it looks like vegetables for salads.
Nicely taken Jing!
It’s ornamental kale.
Your photo is very decorative !
Thank you for dropping by, I left a response to you about these benches!
Have a happy weekend, Jing
wonderful shot. the crystal-like quality of the waterdrops makes me think of magical forests with elves and pixies floating about.
My mother used to call it the red cabbage, but it’s not the red/purple cabbage one can eat; this one is just ornamental. I think it’s the same things as what’s called “kale” in New Zealand. Here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kale
thx,Meg…so pity recently i cant open the wikipedia….:((
i will try to check ….
I never know what this is called either, but always think it is a very photogenic plant.
Thanks for stopping by my new site – come by again! (perhaps for more bull fighting pictures tomorrow!)
