The weather wasn’t good: wet, hazy, cold. Someone said the weathe could influence our mood. Does it?? So busy recently I did, even had no time to care about the weather. On my way home, I all of a sudden wanted to walk in the park, seeing the nice red small flowers, and felt the quiet moment… very nice!!

Shanghai Museum
It locates in the downtown, where we call it “人民广场(ren2 min2 guang2 chang3)”=People’s Square. Actually at this place there was a racecourse before 1949. Later, the government of the CCP decided to rebuild the racecourse to a park which was called “People’s Park”, which we still can find there. That’s why now we call that area “People’s Square”. This is the view in front of the Shanghai Railway Station. Maybe you know, the railway is still the main way for us to travel in the country. I went home by train also.
It looks crowded, isn’t it? Every year, the “rush time” of the raiway is just around the Spring Festival. More than several hundred million people will travel by train in this period. We also give it a specail name “春运(chun1 yun4)”. Chun1(春) means “Spring Festival” which in Chinese we call it “chun1 jie2(春节)”；yun4(运) means transport. The railway has to “transport” lots of people during the Spring Festival. The Spring Festival will be on Feb. 18th this year, which means the terrible crowded period will come soon. I AM BACK!!! 
Thanks, my friends… thanks for your nice visiting and comments and thinking of me when I was not here. I am so sorry that without leaving any more information, I disappeared for so long time. As I said before, dad got the OPS, but the disease is out of our thoughts: the cancer. So after his OPS, I stayed in the hospital and looked after him. He is my old dad who raised me up, who give me lots love and knowledge… I don’t want him feel upset when he has the serious disease in his old age. Now he is back home, mom and sister are with him. And he is recovering in good mood.
This is not a new photo. I took it before I went home in 2006, yes, in the last few days of 2006. I like this idea to decorate the door in “2007″: a new door for all us to walk through. Here is the big photo.
