On my way to the office in the morning of Thursday, I saw this beautiful bus all of a sudden. It is beautiful, isn’t it?? Friday morning, I heard the news on the radio that this is the first open Double-decker of the city. The equipment looks cozy…and the colour looks cheerful. When hearing the news, I was HAPPY. Because of the habbit of taking the camera with me all the time, I recorded this historical “thing” on the first day unexpectedly.
I really want to say I feel happy to be one little member of DP family. Share the big photo here.

les celebres bus à touristes, c’est amusant de voir qu’ils sont toujours rouges, quelque soit le pays.
je te souhaite un bon week end
the famous buses with tourists, it is amusing to see that they are always red, some is the country. I wish you a good week end
Is it a tourist bus or regular passenger bus?
It is a beautiful red bus, indeed! When we visited London in 2003 that’s how we got around and loved it but I understand that recently they have retired them all
. I guess I have to come to Shanghai for a ride…
I have already seen this kind of buses here but only with touristic aim. I would like to have this kind of buses for our normal transport too!
No passengers on the top deck???
It’s nice that you showed us the new bus. It’s a great way to view the city. Good luck to the new bus!
Top back seat please
Lovely shot of the bus
note to isabella if she’s still following this — I think there are still open-top tourist buses in London — the ones taken out of service were the old Routemaster double-deckers — don’t think these had open tops though.
welcome to shanghai. Isabella …:D
Roeiru, cold morning time, so everyone wants to stay in the warm. If in the summer, I think most will choose the top? :d
thx for visiting the nice bus…
