Yesterday I got a phone from one of best friend, they will have the new-born baby next month. :d  Wow… Congratulations,Yin!! ;)   This year is really the baby boom year!! I need to think about what presents to buy to for this new baby.

Took this photo on the street, a window of a store for babies’ clothing and other equipments. Before I saw a very cute bear toy lying on this bed, I planned to take a photo of it. But one day I found they moved that bear away. Pity!! I only got this. ;-) Still very cute, isnt it???

Kris,
in the mainland, we cant know it’ll be boy or girl before that moment. Because still lots of Chinese men want to have the boys, not girls. And, also in the mainland, abortion is something no related to the laws or illegal ways.
So, the doctors wont tell you it’t be boy or girl. No chance to know throught out of the whole mainland.
Ah…something ridiculous?? Anyway, too many people in this country!! I can feel it everyday. ;-)

American press is full of stories about The Year of the Pig being a giant baby boom year for the Chinese because it implies prosperity for the baby. But they also talk about the consequences…

PS This bear bears uncanny resemblance to Amedée, Olivier’s friend in Evry ;-)
