Future is not far, old town of shanghai China

Old street in shanghai, which is called “nan cang jie” (南仓街). Walked there and when looked around, one of the old man saw my camera and told me : this place will be removed next year, like other old places in shanghai as well….

Jing,

I’m glad you were able to capture this moment in time. I like these older parts of Shanghai~~I’m one of those who doesn’t think that skyscrapers like the one in the background is necessarily “progress”.

Have a nice week, Jing. :-)

Gudl,

>The building in the background is HUGE!

Now, imagine about 4,000 (!) more of those and you’ll start to learn how immense and expansive Shanghai is. It never ceases to amaze me how many skyscrapers there are in the city.
