I’m glad you were able to capture this moment in time. I like these older parts of Shanghai~~I’m one of those who doesn’t think that skyscrapers like the one in the background is necessarily “progress”.

For me, i like this old shanghai bit more as well. Skyscrapers are tooo cold…
I am planning to walk around thos areas after move to the downtown. I wish i could capture more and more moment of this life-feeling streets…..

Now, imagine about 4,000 (!) more of those and you’ll start to learn how immense and expansive Shanghai is. It never ceases to amaze me how many skyscrapers there are in the city.
