Most of my time is occupied by my 2 jobs. So less time to go around to find the nicest view to take. But its OK. To observe the normal life around me  is very interesting. This was a scene on the jinxian road, and just facing the gallery door — a woman was collecting the useless trash after dark,far a cook standing outside smoking. Its the different side of our life. I like it.

Sorry my dear friends… after busy weekend, I was totally tired. Maybe the cold weather made me frozen?? Anyway I was lazy for 3 days. This was an old photo I took on the street in a sunny early winter day. The old granny looked so peacefully; I like her expression very much. Nothing can change her peaceful world now.

Winter is cold, night sometimes is cold as well. I mean the atmosphere. Less people can be seen, and only few just wait for the coming late buses to rush for warm home.  shanghai is a city, metropolis. I am always thinking how to express the feeling about a city, esp. in the night? in the cold winter? in the hot summer? The atmosphere is always changing… I took a normal shot and edited in photoshop. I like this kind of “wider” angle, well, fake, hehe…

January 17, 2008 - I miss warm weather.

I miss warm weather….so cold recently in shanghai. So I found this old shot. People on the street were surrounding to watch some performance….Taken @ Middle Huai Hai road. It was the Shanghai Tourist Festival Season.
