Thanks a lot, my dear friends! Thank you, thank you for writng to me at the earlier time to ask my situation after the earthquake. I am fine. Dont worry~~
2008-05-12 14:28 WenChuan county, Sichuan province, China. the worst earthquake (7.9-magnitude) in recent 30s happened there…. more than 12,000 people died … Till now the weather there is still worse, rainning and mud-rock flow; the roads were broken, and no signal of communication … But I know Chinese government already start to send the army there to rescue, also the doctors / experts to the disaster areas!
Lets pray … for the people and for the earth!!
Lets help them … with our own hands ~~~

Jing,
Nice, poignant image.
I’m very glad you’re fine.
My heart goes out to all the victims’ families. It’s been difficult for me, at times, to view the photographic and video images from the Sichuan earthquake region. But I’m heartwarmed and moved by the rapid response of the government and all the tireless efforts of the rescue and emergency personnel.
Keep safe. My thoughts and prayers are with all your country’s people.
As a Chinese student in the U.S., I feel attached to the injured and deceased students in this disaster. My heart goes out to them and their family. Let’s hold on to hope, we won’t give up on them.
I would like to add that I’m pleased with the government’s quick response, as well as their openness on the situation and the will to accept foreign help. This is definitely an improvement from before. Wen Jiabao said that every life counts. This shows that the government is really starting to put the well-being of its people above all.
sadness…such sadness for the people of Sichuan….mother-nature can be so cruel……take care
