Taken @ Line 1, shanghai
I think this is the first time I uploaded the photos about the Metro in shanghai. Actually it is NOT like this, you could image it as crowded as it could be. And that day it was around 4pm which was not the rush time, and I took the picture before it arrived at People Square station where it was the most crowded exchange center.
Have a good Sunday ~

I just started to wonder where all the people are ^^ I never thought that there are times, were your Metro isn’t crowded.
The picture is great, especially this pattern of poles.
Wow, I am so impressed with how clean it appears. It is always this clean? I like the angle that your chose for this shot.

To Viriginia:
Yes, the Shanghai is as clean as it appears in Jing’s nice photo. The Shanghai Metro system is relatively young compared to most other subway systems in other major cities. More lines are being built as the city gears up for “Expo 2010″.
The Metro is a terrific way to get around Shanghai: inexpensive, clean, and efficient; just avoid the morning and evening rush hours.
I’m sorry we didn’t get to ride the subway during out short visit to Shanghai, since we like to explore public transportation systems all around the world. This picture makes the car look like a complex system of curved and straight lines. Since I commuted to hich school on the subway in NYC, I know what rush hour it like.
