Taken @ Rui Jin road, shanghai
Went out shooting the last weekend again, yes, street strolling and casual shoot on the streets. She was standing there for a while to look through the big windows of a clothes shop, and didnt move. I didnt know why but she caught my attention when I saw her at the first glance. She was watching quietly, even I stood not very close I still can feel her concentration. The colorful fashional clothes may reminded her great memory in the past..
Best wishes to her, best wishes to my dear friends, nice new week ~

A beautiful and arresting photo!
This is a wonderful image, Jing. The B&W is very effective. She is a wonderful character to have found – the stooped shoulders; the hands behind her back; and, the concentration in her face. It creates a good image to have her by herself and facing one way and then all the younger people in the image behind her and going on with their busy busy lives.
I like this very much …
Hi julie – fancy seeing you here! haha
and thanks for this beautifully subtle image.
yep, agree with julie!
the commotion behind her really works fantastically in contrast to the tranquility in her character.
which district in shanghai is rui jin road in, Jin?
shanghai is a sister city of san francisco, so for september’s CDP theme day i’ll be posting some photos from my trip to shanghai two years ago.
see you around
