So guess what time it was when I took this photo?? If I say “midnight” please do not be surprised ! I took it few months ago, in the summer night. Her family opens a store on the Kunming road, and at that time the weather was super hot. Maybe to cut down the spending, no air-condition inside… and she was playing outside with water and this big broom.

It is not a recent photo. I took it months ago, in the hottest day in summer. Now the weather is still very humid and top to 32 degrees. But we already can see the fallen leaves here and there. In the hottest days, people who live in the poor houses dont have the shower or bath inside. So this is how they did their “shower” after the sundown. Another side of Shanghai. Maybe this photo is not a photo I should post on this blog. But its a street view I took in the night. And if you look careful, you could see the reflection in the mirror, and few men were playing cards in their glass store at night when no guests came. I’d like to make a series to show the common people’s night life in the city. So, this is a first trial. Hope you like it…and also wish you have a nice day ~~

Sorry… no more nice street photos to show you, so I choose this one I took in our office back yart which is the path we walk to our canteen everyday. In order to celebrate our Academy’s 50th anniverisy, they repainted the walls, now it looks quite nice ~ have a nice Wed. and the weekend is just over there. hehe ~~
