Taken @ Nanjing Botanic Garden, NJ

Its not my first time to go to  Nanjing, so this time we chose some quiet place to play– the Botanic garden. Maybe its too hot, there was less people and we had nice quiet time together to enjoy the beautiful nature : the trees, the flowers and the fresh air. The friends are all like taking photos, and here you could see the fact. :D I guess they were trying to catch some beautiful light coming through the trees and forgot I was there to catch them, haha. Ok…Wish you a nice Sunday, but today we have to work.  :)

Taken @ Lujia zui, shanghai

Sorry, my dear friends…. :D Because we had the dragon boat festival, I visited Nanjing again with my good friends. Sorry, I was so happy and forgot to upload new photos… Hope you do not mind, and will enjoy the photos with me together.  :D

Today is another shot from the Lujia zui area in Pudong, another angle, and you can see how many skyscapers there. :P and maybe you will enjoy the view if you are like Mr. Rolex who likes the modern views. hehe …I remembered 3 years ago when I used my first camera to take photos for the Shanghai DP, there were only 5 skyscapers along the Huangpu river on the east, including the Oriental Pearl Tower, but now… What  a BIG change!! And so obviously the city is developing fast !!

Hope you will have a nice Sunday.. and I will update tomorrow, if you do not mind, maybe some photos from my trip? :P haha…take care!!!

May 27, 2009 - Tall, Taller…

Yeah, you know what buildings they are! :D The JinMao tower(L) and Shanghai World Financial Center(R). Those 2 buildings are very close to each other, and now another tallest (maybe) skyscaper on the east side of  SWFC is under construction already. I googled and its the Shanghai Center. Now when you stand on the Lujiazui, and you really will have the feeling that our world is combined by the skyscapers only. Its new, its marvelous… But I prefer choose some lower buildings which wont give me the pressure. Maybe I am too small? :P hehe ~

Tomorrow is our traditional Dragon Boat festival!! :D Best wishes to you, my dear friends!! And from this year it will be the first time that the whole nation takes it as the national holiday, then we will have a long weekend. Remember to find some rice dumpling (Zong Zi) & salty duck eggs to eat, and if possible,  find the Asiatic wormwood to hang on the front door. :P And I will show some sachets I bought for friends tomorrow then.  Be happy ~~~

May 26, 2009 - Fish to be killed

Taken @ Huainan, Anhui province

Yeah, another photo taken out of Shanghai. A little bloody? And where is this place? — Its the vegetable market in the town where parents live. And there was the place to buy the fresh fish, and they helped you to kill & clean the internal stuffs. I guess its not something all the people can accept, but thats part of the normal Chinese life. And this kind of scene you could find in the most towns in China.  And I wont say its nice, I just want to show the real live scene.  And I think when the economical situation changes , and the social phenomena will change.  :) Nice Tuesday ~ and only one working day left, haha… Lets welcome the Dragon Boat Festival!!!!

May 25, 2009 - Street study

This is another photo that not from Shanghai. But I really wanted to post it. And I think its not easy to see this view here already.  I passed by that corner with Mom when I visited them last time, and saw this little girl squat there.  Curious what she was doing, I walked a little bit close and found out she was doing her homework there. I looked around, and saw a woman who was trying to sell some baskets of fresh strawberry on the streets. Maybe thats her mom?  The farmers still live in a quite difficult life in lots parts of China. I think its impossible for the children from the Metropolis to study on the streets, even they have their own room, parents still worry about the children obsessed by the video games or Internet or… I know life is not totally equal, and I think I pay more my respect to the little girl in this photo. :) Wish you have a nice new week!!  Cool Monday~
