Taken @ Tai kang road, shanghai
When you plan the trip a city, you will make the visit scheduler to make sure to no time waste. So what about Shanghai? When some friends visit here, and I am often been asked, where is the good place to visit for a short time to know the “real” face of this city? If you choose to know the normal local life,I may recommend you this place — Tai Kang lu (泰康路), even its not the “real” thing any more. But during half of the day, you could see the some typical local residential environment, even mixed with lots of exotic restaurants.
Its raining here, and the report says it will be getting cold as the cold air is coming. A little bit sad mood here, maybe because last night I went to watch the movie ” This is it” with a friend. We are almost the same age, even we are not the big fan of MJ, but his influence is in our way to grow up. Â Its just our respect to this greatest entertainer in the world. Â
God bless you ~~

Tai Kang lu……….seems like a good starting point, thanks for the recommendation. Love the weather reports coming out of Shangahi from SHDP girl. You must have little atenna’s all over your body always recording the changes everyday, kool. you don’t miss anything. I didn’t see “This is it”, interesting comments you made, ” to grow up”. Same age, hmm…? though of you as…. well, timeless!
Saw your photo on flickr site today,
your caption: ….Totally forgot when & where… and what is it then???
This is the side of you I like very much…different from todays DP image
this departure is the turf of the real artist. The process that goes into creating the image is also a part of the end result. Sometimes I see you as a teacher, a scientist…with all your cameras and films. Other times you put a camera somewhere and discover it later with film you have already used, develop it and then review it for us….like finding treasure, or sometimes some thing else. It is a process artist experience. I enjoy seeing it very much.
When I got my associate of arts degree the college paid for my classes to study art abroad, the middle east and europe is where I ended up. When I got my bachelor degree I studied with two international recognized artist , one from europe the other from Iceland. I worked on my master’s degree in art education.
I made honor society, dean’s list, presidents list and finally the top ten percent of the school
I don’t create art any more…but feel the passion, love the process and can look at your photos and art works anytime. I can say that I always learn something from you… as well as discover many news things about art too.
stay dry, stay warm……..c u soon on flickr
