Taken @ Temple of City God, shanghai
Its windy and cold of course. The news said part of southern China snowed heavily. Hope the situation wont be so worse.
Sunday I went to the Temple of City God (城隍庙 = cheng huang miao) where you could find a huge wholesale market to buy anything you want almost. Even I’ve been there for many time I still got lost with my friend. We cant find the lift and had to go downstairs, and saw this man. He was taking a nap in the corner of the stairs, and from his appearance he maybe is a redcap. Life is tough, and lets treasure what we have!!
Stay warm~~

I liked the location of yesterday’s picture very much, when ever I see this……Taken @ Home, shanghai. I know that this is my favorite place in Shanghai of all the place you have shown us….shown me.
This is where all the wonderful things happen at SHDP.
This morning when I looked at your flickr site before coming here , I got a suprise, The photo…….of you , it just made me stop, pause….was so special.
She really understands how to take a picture and show their inner essence, The beauty found within that image is so wonderful …goldish, yes and so much more I think.
From the back, from the front or at a distance any image of you ……..is so nice Jing to see
thanks for all the hugs, I felt each one, there where three, I remember well because I counted each one..
I agree, life is hard and lets treasure what we have, rings so true…….Stay warm, your words and pictures like posted on flickr …keep everything warm all the way to my heart . Hope you are always warm too on these cold winter days.
Jing……..what does redcap mean???
that photo really mirrors your experience there so clearly, you are a great visual story teller.
I don’t get to travel much this past year, only to New York. I would like to move to New York and transfer to our company’s location there. Why? So I can work for a newspaper in the evenings. It is a chinese newspaper. Would have to help with their english edition.
I would be very happy to live and work in China…as a reporter, .it’s my dream.
Great picture. I like the story behind it.
