Feng Jing （枫泾）belongs to Jin Shan（金山）district of Shanghai. And the farmer painting from that district is very famous.  This kind of art appeared in Feng Jing in 1960s. The farmers at that time combined the different traditional art techniques with the modern life attitude which represented the life of the modern Chinese farmers.  Now if you go to the town, you could see lots of huge paintings on the outside of walls of many buildings.
