November 18, 2010 - Restart to build

Taken @ Shan Xi road, shanghai

During the whole Expo time, there was no construction work at all, like during the whole Olympic time. I do not know if some big event is held some other places, people would stop the regular life like in China?

Now after it, the construction works come back every corner in the downtown. And also the big fire happened in the downtown as you may already know. The big tragic for many families. China is on the way of changing. I hope people, the government should consider the situation, the society while everything is changing so fast.

The fall is here and everything is turning yellow all of a sudden, also this tree. I have to walk down this stair everyday and see it every morning and evening.   And one day I noticed its leaves all yellow.  Season is just running there …

Well,  is it too excited to upload the weekend-feeling photo??  This is I took in the highest bar in Shanghai, I suppose. It is on the 92nd floor of the SWFC, which has 101 floors. Because from far away, the building looks like a bottle opener, now we all call it the ” bottle opener” instead of its real name.  The bar is not that special, and i was quite interesting about its decoration instead of anything else. They use lots of artificial body-parts to hang on the ceiling and also piles like what you see in the pictures.  Art?  Interesting  ~~

Not an image from Shanghai this time, and neither from around Shanghai. Its from Hong Kong, which is a much more famous and familiar to the western. For Chinese? We know this place  but only hear this name for most of the Chinese common people. Now from some big cities, the citizens could go to have a trip by yourself, otherwise you need go there with the tourist group.  While I talked to some foreigner friends, they can not understand why we also need another Hong Kong visa if we want to go there.  Politics is everywhere in China, even within one nation.
