This is the fabric market in Shanghai. And it seems that more foreigners know this place better than the local Chinese. I went there with a friend yesterday, she wanted to buy some fabric to make her own style dress. It’s a quite bit market and filled with quite a lot foreigners, not locals. I guess now its more expensive to make a dress than to buy one from the market.
Love visiting this market on weekend with my friends when I was living in Shanghai. I love buying necklaces from the Tibetan vendors who sell their wares outside the market.
