Hi,
Was looking 4 some pictures of Shanghai in google.com, then I stumbled to your daily blog photos. Interesting pictures of daily life in Shanghai, and definitely put people that see them a lot closer to the city. Your pics of gan guo (dry hotpot) and liang fen (cold dish) make me long for Shanghai’s food a lot more. Can’t wait 4 next week when I’ll be there in person. Wonderful site you have here, thanks.
Good pictures!

Hi Jing:
Hi Jing:
I have stay in Shanghai during the first week of July 2008 in a business trip. The last day my boss left me for a while to take a trip in the city. It was the 2th july in the afternoon and I took a taxi. There were clouds looks threatening in the sky and suddenly a double rainbow and some well illuminated clouds appears over the city. I was in the taxi, trying to find something to chat in my poor English with the driver.. just the time to open my camera bag and shoot some views. The clouds were now almost hide behind the buildings…Nevertheless I have enjoyed my walk trough the streets of Shanghai. Now, reviewing your photoblog I have recognized tis rainbow in your picture of 3 July. That was fantastic. Quickly I have searched in my “Shanghai album” and verify the date in the exif. OK, we have shoot over the same point at the almost the same moment. Oh, internet is really a great thing!
Thank you very much for take your time for upload your daily photographs. I really like most of them and i’m really impressed by your capacity to find something relevant to be shoot in such relevant way.
(Sorry, each time I make a “tab” that seems to submit my comment)

I shall look forward to your reply for now and I shouldn’t forget wishing you a very Happy New Year!
