Yangshu pu road is a quite long but poor street in Yangpu District. But now you could find some galleries and “art space” there now, which are inside of the old factory buildings. From this photo, you maybe say its nothing there. But if you walk into this almost “invisible” entrance, you will find a very nice space where one of the taiwan architect tries to build the simple & beautiful & natural houses. I like it very much for inside you could find so many green plants. A greenland inside of the concrete jungle, super nice

shanghai is a bit city, if you want to cross the city you need at least 2 hours or even longer. And because of the influence of the past time, when you go to different districts you could feel its obvious difference. Yangshu pu road is in the Yang pu district, and where it was a factory area. I went there to discover and saw some people sold the poultry there. You could know they are poor people from their appearance. Its not something good. but its hard to make a living sometimes. Wish you have a nice new week.

Yangpu district is bit from where I live, so i seldom went there. But its a place worth to go. Tong bei road is a quite quiet street, and behind this wall, it was one of old shanghai famous bed sheets factory. People at my parents age all know that brand, but now its not easy to find it in the stores. The Open policy brings more and more products from outside, those old state-run enterprises had to change.
