Meng hua jie ( in Chinese 梦花街) originally it came from a Chinese idiom – meng bi sheng hua (梦笔生花 — dreamed the pen could“grew blossoms”, dream of being a successful writer).
Lately I was busy looking for the new place to move. Sounds tired, isn’t it ? And with the rising price of renting, it is hard to find a comfy & economical apartment to live by myself in the downtown. I started to wonder does it mean that I belong to the poor people in Shanghai ? Life is tough if you cannot get a global-pay-job or you are not originally from here. And when I see this street name, what a beautiful name ~ even this house looks pretty poor and messy, but at least it is someone’s home. But where is mine, while the landlord could kick you out of the room at any time, rise the price at any time ? Maybe I should change … the job or the city ?
